How long does the process take?

Do I need to know what I want before booking?
Not at all. Most of our clients start with nothing more than "I want something special." Our designers guide you through every decision — that's exactly what the consultation is for.
What's the difference between lab-grown and natural diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, optically, and physically identical to mined diamonds. They're typically 60–80% less expensive for the same quality, and every stone we source is IGI or GIA certified.
Can I see my ring before it's made?
Absolutely. You'll receive photorealistic 3D renders showing every angle and proportion. You approve the final render before we begin crafting — and can request unlimited changes at no extra cost.
What if I'm not in Melbourne?
We work with clients across Australia and internationally via video consultation. The entire process — design to delivery — can be done remotely, with free express registered mail worldwide.
Do you offer payment plans?

How much does a custom engagement ring cost?
Custom rings start at $2,000, with most of our work falling between $3,000 and $10,000. The price depends on the stone (size, quality, lab grown or natural), the metal, and the complexity of the setting. We give you honest pricing upfront — no surprises.
How long does the process take?
Typically four to six weeks from first conversation to ring in hand. We can move faster if needed — rush jobs in as little as one week, depending on the design.
Lab grown vs natural diamonds — what's right for us?
Both are real diamonds — chemically and visually identical. Lab grown costs significantly less per carat, which means a bigger or higher-quality stone for the same budget. Most of our clients choose lab grown for that reason, but we work with both.
Can you make a ring I've seen elsewhere?
Yes — send us a photo, a link, or anything else you've come across. We'll design something inspired by it, or recreate the style with your own customisations. Most of our clients come to us with at least one reference ring.
What if I don't know what I want yet?
That's actually how most of our clients start. A 15-minute conversation with one of our designers is usually all it takes to get clear on direction. There's no expectation that you'll have it figured out before we speak.
Do you make rings with sapphires, emeralds, or other gemstones?
Yes. Sapphires (lab grown or natural), emeralds, salt-and-pepper diamonds, fancy coloured diamonds, moissanite — we work with the full range. Coloured gemstones often offer significantly more visual presence per dollar than diamonds, which makes them a strong option for buyers who want something distinctive.
What if my partner has a metal allergy?
We design around it. Nickel is the most common culprit in white gold — we can recommend nickel-free alloys, platinum, or palladium-based whites. If you're not sure whether there's an allergy, we'll talk through the risks and options before you commit.
